The Last Samurai?? This coming from the same person who said that movie doesn't look that good...hmmm Did wd40 like it?

holy crap no I haven't seen it yet. I wanted to see if very bad. In fact, I planned on it, but it just never worked out. I'm fairly confident I won't be disappointed, but I'll never know until I do.

Yeah, the more that I saw on it, the better that it looked. I do this often. I will se the ad for a movie and think that it looks crappy and then, 6 months later i will allow my self the experience of not judging a book buy its cover and actually see the movie.

honeykid, have you seen a French film called "L'Adversaire" ("The Adversary") starring Daniel Auteuil? Sounded interesting (and dark), but I only see a quite costly Canadian edition.

Sorry EPlayer, I haven't seen it. But it does ring a bell, maybe they've shown it on FilmFour over here (it's their sort of movie) so I'll keep an eye out for it. Let me know how much it costs and I'll have a look for a cheaper one.

Bad news about The Escort dvd. I hope that it plays all right.

I looked up "Adversary" on the Multiregion price check and only 3 retailers pulled up. But I don't trust DVDSoon and AB Sound had a 6 - 8 week special order. PlayCentric.com has no details on it, but don't think that's the right one since they're in the U.S.

I think I saw it at Videoflicks in Canada, but it was something like $28.00 US before shipping. Really hesitate to pay quite that much for anything I haven't seen!

OK EP, I'll start looking. Although with the pound being so strong against the dollar at the moment I might have trouble beating that price by much. I'll have a look though.

Narc

Seen it before? I borrowed it from goat421 a couple of months ago. Not bad. Nothing new or original, but I still liked the style.

That's Goat241 wd40...that aside I thought Narc was an ok movie, but didn't like the ending. Kinda predictable in my opinion.

Now the Usual Suspects on the otherhand. No way I saw that coming!! :-o

w00t! I'll be in the minority, but I stil stand by Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003! It was fantastic. so...

I bought it. Best Buy had a special where you could buy the Spec. Ed. version of TCM 2003 and you get the original TCM for free.

I put in my pre-order for the Star Wars Trilogy. Quite a reasonable price on that set.

Thanks for the info EPlayer :-)

Surprisingly I didn't even know that the release date had been set for the trilogy. I'll be sure to put my order in.
