Ok, I have scoured the forums (as broken as they are, sorry) and tried to find some topic on Dexter. Found nothing, so here goes.
I just started this show. I just finished the 7th episode of the 2nd season. No spoilers yet please while I catch up.
Are there any fans? My wife is absolutely loving the show. I like it a lot, but I am not completely in love with it yet. I think it's too frustrating and tension filled for me to get into all the way.
I don't think it helps that I can't wait to get to the 4th season (which should be in a couple of weeks at this rate) to see John Lithgow. Oh how I love that man.
Anyway, ramble finished. Discuss?

I love Dexter. Although I appear to be in the minority (so what else is new) I think that it gets better as it goes on. There were a lot of grumbles about the third season (a friend of mine actually stopped watching until I told her just how good the last few episodes were) but I thought it was the best yet. Eagerly awaiting the fourth season (I don't watch them at US pace as I don't like watching things at the computer) so I have to wait until they're shown on satellite over here.

I have heard the same things about the 3rd season myself. I am anxious to get through it regardless.
Almost done with the second season now. Tonight will wrap it up.
HK - When does it hit satellite for you?

From what I can garner (from various forums) we get season 4 in Feb/March. Looking forward to hearing what you think about season 3. As I said, I loved it and think it's the best season, though the little I've heard about season 4 makes me think it'll top it. I try not to read/hear spoilers about Dexter, so once you go past me, I'll stop coming in this thread. ----------------- I often wonder how I'm going to die. You don't want to embarrass friends.

'Dexter' star Hall treated for cancer
Michael C. Hall has revealed that he's been diagnosed with a non-lethal form of cancer.
The Dexter star said that his illness is being treated and that he is already recovering, reports E!.
The 38-year-old is currently suffering from Hodgkin's lymphoma. His doctors in Los Angeles were able to find and treat the ailment early. The cancer is reportedly in complete remission.
"I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care," Hall said.
Hall is expected to attend the Golden Globes this Sunday. He was nominated in the category of 'Best Actor' for his performance on Dexter.

That's terrible. However, I did blow through the 4th season and finished it yesterday. Holy shit HK you are in for a ride! The finale was insane. However, after all of the talk I read online, I felt the 4th season was little rough at times. It was still good, but the pacing was little off, which was made apparent when watched all at once. There were also character moments that felt a little exaggerated or inconsistent, but still fine. It felt a little unbalanced and weighted heavier at the end. As far as the 3rd season goes, I liked it just fine. No big complaints there. Yet, like the 4th season, I felt the pacing was just a bit off the mark and loaded with some heavy content in the finale third. The first season is still the best to me and was very balanced. ----------------- Hello, fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you. Thank you. If you vote me, I am hot.
