Not a bad weekend for us, but EPlayer took the top spot with seven points, thanks to two correct predictions. I was second with one correct prediction and Kenage was third with two away points. On the overall table, I took the top spot back, by a point, but it's EPlayer who made the most ground up. No, you've in plenty of time. It's a good 8 hours before the first game kicks off and nearly 11 to the 3pm kick offs.

A bit of a mental weekend in the Premier League. We'll be lucky to score highly from these.

Saturday December 12
Birmingham 1 - 0 West Ham
Bolton 3 - 3 Man City
Burnley 1 - 1 Fulham
Chelsea 3 - 3 Everton
Hull 0 - 0 Blackburn
Man Utd 0 - 1 Aston Villa
Stoke City 2-2 Wigan Athletic
Sunderland 1 - 1 Portsmouth
Tottenham 0 - 1 Wolverhampton

Sunday December 13
Liverpool 1 - 2 Arsenal

Here's how we did.

Kenage     8+2
EPlayer     6+2
honeykid     3+1

Current overall table

Kenage     69+12
honeykid 65+12
EPlayer     61+11

Well you guys didn't do as badly as I thought you might, while I did as expected with those results. Two correct predictions for Kenage and EPlayer, but with a couple of correct results too, it's Kenage that ended up on top with eight. Well done, mate. EPlayer, therefore, was second and I was third with just three points, thanks to one correct prediction.

Here's hoping the mid-week games go better for us.

Kenage     9+2
EPlayer     7+1
honeykid 6+0

Overall table

Kenage     78+14
honeykid 71+12
EPlayer     68+12

A much better round for you guys than I thought it'd be for us. Kenage ended up top with 17 points over the 4 days. Top of the heap, well done sir. 13 more points for EPlayer put her second, while just 9 were all I could take.

This'll be the last fools panel round of the year, as there's just too many days over the Christmas period to be sure that we'll get them in time. So, as usual, rather than risking missing out, I'll do one huge bumper round now. Take them all in one go or break them up over Christmas, as along as you get your predictions in before the kick off, it's always it's up to you.

Here's the weekends results and the Premier League just keeps getting weirder.

Saturday December 19
Arsenal 3 - 0 Hull
Aston Villa 1 - 0 Stoke
Blackburn 0 - 2 Tottenham
Fulham 3 - 0 Man Utd
Man City 4 - 3 Sunderland
Portsmouth 2 - 0 Liverpool

Sunday December 20
Everton 1 - 1 Birmingham
West Ham 1 - 1 Chelsea
Wolverhampton 2 - 0 Burnley

Here's how we did.

honeykid 11+3
EPlayer     6+1
Kenage     1

Overall table

honeykid 82+15
Kenage     79+14
EPlayer     74+13

A good weekend for me, with three correct predictions helping me to eleven points. EPlayer took second with six points and a correct prediction. Kenage, unfortunately, didn't post in time (by my calculations that is, I'm not 100%) so only scored one away point. Because of that, I've managed to retake the top spot. Not only that, but only eight points now seperate all of us.

27 December 2009

honeykid     8+1
EPlayer        6+1

This is the overall table

honeykid 90+16
Kenage     88+16
EPlayer     80+14

Another winning weekend for Kenage. Two correct predictions put him top of the heap. Well done, sir. I was second, a point and a prediction behind with eight. EPlayer was third with six points and one correct prediction.

There's just ten points between all of us as we head into the last week of the year.

Wednesday 30th December 2009
Man Utd 5-1 Wigan Athletic
Portsmouth 1-4 Arsenal

OK, that's the last Premier result of year in, here's how we did.

EPlayer     11+2
honeykid    10+2
Kenage        9+1

At the halfway point, the overall table looks like this.

honeykid 100+18
Kenage     97+17
EPlayer     91+16

A very close last set for us, but it's EPlayer who takes the final top spot for the year. Well done, honey.

It's also very tight overall. I've just cracked the 100 point mark and lead, but Kenage is only 3 points back (the one correct prediction he's got less than me) and EPlayer's only 6 points back from that. As you can see, up to now we've all been guessing at about the same level, so it really is anyones as we head into the new year.

Speaking of which...

Tuesday 05th January 2010
Stoke City v Fulham 19.45

Wednesday 06th January 2010
Arsenal v Bolton 19.45

Saturday 09th January 2010
Arsenal v Everton 15.00
Birmingham v Man Utd 17.30
Burnley v Stoke City 15.00
Fulham v Portsmouth 15.00
Hull City v Chelsea 12.45
Sunderland v Bolton 15.00
Wigan Athletic v Aston Villa 15.00

Sunday 10th January 2010
Liverpool v Tottenham 16.00
West Ham v Wolves 13.30

Monday 11th January 2010
Man City v Blackburn 20.00

Finally, this is what all those fixtures, goals and points have done to the Premier table.

1 Chelsea 14 3 3
2 Manchester United 14 1 5
3 Arsenal 13 2 4
4 Tottenham Hotspur 11 4 5
5 Manchester City 9 8 2
6 Aston Villa 10 5 5
7 Liverpool 10 3 7
8 Birmingham City 9 5 6
9 Fulham 7 6 6
10 Sunderland 6 5 9
11 Everton 5 7 7
12 Stoke City 5 6 8
13 Blackburn Rovers 5 6 9
14 Burnley 5 5 10
15 Wolverhampton Wndrs 5 4 11
16 Wigan Athletic 5 4 10
17 West Ham United 4 6 10
18 Bolton Wanderers 4 6 8
19 Hull City 4 6 10
20 Portsmouth 4 2 14

A last point. Today Bolton sacked their manager, Gary Megson. The favourite to get the job is Mark Hughes, who was sacked by Manchester City just before Christmas.

Good luck and Happy New Year!
